NCUA Updated Address for Adverse Actions

If you are not regulated by the NCUA then you can skip to the end of this Special Release.

If you are regulated by the NCUA, then you need to know the CFPB amended some addresses in Regulation B, Regulation V and a website referencing Regulation Z APR Table. The August 25, 2023  Federal Register  issued these clerical error amendments, but the only which would pertain to credit unions is the address in Regulation B for adverse action notices.

The NCUA has given until September 25, 2023 (30 days) to update the content with the new address.

The old address was:

National Credit Union Administration
Office of Consumer Financial Protection (OCFP)
Division of Consumer Compliance Policy and Outreach
1775 Duke Street
Alexandria, VA 22314

The updated address is:

National Credit Union Administration
Office of Consumer Financial Protection (OFCP)
1775 Duke Street
Alexandria, VA 22314
